Charming floral

 Today, I'm sharing a card I made with the recently released press plate from Alex Syberia, Charming Floral. I pressed it using Altenew obsidian ink, and coloured it with Zig markers and a water brush. I finished with a stamped sentiment from Concord & 9th.

Altenew AECP: Easy Diecutting Techniques

Today, I'm sharing a card I made for the Altenew AECP Program, after taking the Easy Die Cutting Techniques class. 

I used the Stacked Diamonds cover die to emboss a piece of white cardstock, before ink blending over the now textured cardstock. I stamped some roses from the Amazing You stamp set in black ink, fussy cut them out and created a bouquet in the middle of my card. I finished with a sentiment from Concord and 9th.

Altenew AECP - For the guys

 Today, I'm sharing a masculine birthday card as part of the "For the Guys" class in the Altenew AECP.

 I stamped the background stamp in black using my MISTI, but all of the colours, I stamped using acrylic blocks - gave me a lot of practice lining up stamps by hand, something I don't often do any more! I cut the panel to just smaller than my card front, cut out a strip on an angle, and finished with a stamped sentiment that I popped up on foam adhesive.

Opposites Attract for A Blog Named Hero

 Today, I'm sharing three cards for the current Stay Crafty with A Blog Named Hero challenge, which is "Opposites Attract". I created two panels with the Spring Floral Stencil - one with white ink on blue cardstock, and one with blue ink on white cardstock. I cut them with a heart die to create three different cards.

AECP Stencil Techniques

 Hello! Today, I'm sharing two cards for the Stencil Techniques class for the Altenew Educator Certification Program. 

I cut the Scallops cover die from white cardstock and used it as a stencil to create the rainbow background on the first card. I then added more colour to the die cut and used it as the background on the second card.

Because the background on the first card is more pale than the 2nd card, I kept the colouring of the teacup softer as well. For the 2nd card, the cup looked wrong on the busy background, so I included a circle of vellum as a layer to separate the teacup from the background.

Rustic Spring cards for Paper Rose Studio

 Today, I'm sharing a trio of cards using products from Paper Rose Studio.

I paired up cut aparts and patterned paper from the Rustic Spring suite of products with embossing folders. I used pale blue cardstock, dew drop embellishments and the Lattice Rectangle die. The sentiments are from the Deer and Bunny stamp set, and from the All Occasions sentiment sheets.
