Merry Mayhem from Spellbinders

 The new Merry Mayhem products from Spellbinders are designed to go with the previously released "This is Life" collection. This grumpy little raccoon and twinkle lights are designed to go with the dumpster fire set, but I thought he was just so cute, I wanted him to be the star of his own card!

Case me a Christmas Card 2026 Intro

Welcome to Case me a Christmas Card 2026 - a Christmas Card series! 

Throughout November, there will be a series of 11 hops – four YouTube hops, and seven Instagram hops. Each hop involves participants CASEing (Copy And Selectively Edit) a card from the next person, drawing inspiration while each creating a Christmas Card. And you can join in!

Background

This series began in November 2016 as a personal challenge to explore different Christmas card styles, with friends suggesting creative ideas. Over time, more cardmakers joined, leading to a format where participants CASE each other's cards. A helpful video by Ardyth Percy Robb outlines a 5-step CASE process—check it out HERE.

I'd love for you to join in! You can join in by making your own CASE, or by commenting on the stops on the hop (either on IG or on YT).

Sending Hugs - Must have sentiments from Simon Hurley

Today, I'm sharing a card using the Must Have Sentiments betterpress plate from Simon Hurley and Spellbinders. To get the super crisp white on black sentiment, I first foiled the sentiments with black foil onto white cardstock, and then I used a solid foil plate to foil the leftover negative foil onto more white cardstock to get the white letters in a background of black foil. I the die cut the sentiments and added one to this background I created using the Tulips & Daffodils press plate.
