Playdate colours one more time

I've now done 3 cards using this week's Playdate Cafe colours - I decided to try to use each of the 3 colours as my base card, so here's the 3rd :)

 

 

 

Playdate colours again

I really like these restful colours from The Playdate Cafe #117 - a bit of restful is just what I need.

Not my favourite by a long shot, but I thought I'd post it anyway :)

Playdate & Cardabilities

I really liked the look of the restful colours in this week's Play Date Cafe Challenge PDCC117, and the sketch from Cardabilities #48 fit the bill as well.  Here's what I came up with:

 I stamped the background with versamark and perfect pearls mist, so it is very subtle, but with a lovely shine.  The flower was also misted with perfect pearls, and the patterned paper from Cristina Re has its own lovely shine.  
The colour of the base card hasn't come up well at all in the second photo - it is SU Bashful Blue - the first photo shows the colours much better, but the second photo shows the shine. :) 

Buttons, flowers, thanks

I realised this afternoon that I had less than 1 hour to make a card and post it if I was to submit it to this weeks CASual Fridays CFC 37 sketch challenge!  I therefore decided to pull out some ready made embellishments - these are from Sassafrass.
The colours are reminiscent of this week's Tuesday Trigger at Moxie Fab, and the stripes on the flowers remind me of the stripey cupcake papers in the photo, so you'll see my card there soon :)
I also followed the colour scheme for the week's ColourQ challenge, so will be popping this card over there, too! I'll also submit this to Lilypad Cards Pattened Paper challenge.

Button Heart

With this card, I followed the colour scheme from Colour Q challenge #122, but I had Moxie Fab's tuesday trigger "Fancy Schmancy" in the back of my mind - both the colours and the idea of sweet treats.  I think my heart is reminisent of a Valentine's Day box of chocolates :)  I'll also submit this to Lilypad Cards patterned paper challenge.
