Happy Mother's Day

I'm playing along with a challenge at CAS on Friday today:
I used the Fresh Flowers set from Clearly Besotted. Well, actually, the set I own is similar to the current Fresh Flowers set, but not exactly the same - I wonder if they did an earlier version? (before you ask, no I didn't get it from Ali Express - it came directly from Clearly Besotted, but a few years ago now.
I stamped the frangipanis (I hope they're frangipanis?) then white embossed them. I cut around the right edge of the flowers, before watercolouring them with a water brush and Zig markers. I stamped the sentiment in Versafine onyx black, then cut down the panel to fit on a peachy-colour card base with a little border.  I finished with some little clear drops from Studio Katia.

Green glitter hexagon

I made this glittery panel AGES ago, but only got around to making it into a card recently!
I used the Flora background stamp from Simon Says Stamp, stamped in Versamark, then added Emerald City glitter embossing powder by WOW! and heat set.  I added some colour with Zig markers and water (normal embossing powder resists water, but I've found that this glitter embossing powder doesn't!) I cut the panel with a hexagon die from Lifestyle Crafts, and added a sentiment from Altenew.
I will be sharing this card at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge - it is their 9th birthday, so they're celebrating with birthday cards! Congrats on 9 years!!

Thank you

This background has been sitting on my desk for months. MONTHS, I tell you! I've been making lots of backgrounds and then cutting them down, for two main reasons: 1. So that I have more white space on the card. and 2. So that I can make two (or sometimes three!) cards from one background. But with this background, because it is ombre, I didn't want to cut a shape from the middle because then I'd be left with yellow and purple, and eww. I didn't want to cut it length-ways because - I actually don't know why. I just didn't. So this is what happened.

The background is a stamp from Simon Says Stamp, coloured with Zig markers, then cut with a stitched rectangle die from Lil' Inkers Designs. The sentiment is a die from Wplus9, cut from black cardstock, then covered with Wink of Stella. I added some sequins as a finishing touch.

Happy birthday heart

Continuing with my theme of not using the whole panel when I made a background, I cut a heart from this panel to make space for the sentiment.

I used the Flora background from Simon Says Stamp, white embossed onto watercolour paper, then coloured with Zig makers, water and Perfect Pearls. The sentiment is from Avery Elle - the die is stacked about 5 or 6 deep to match the depth of the foam tape holding up the background panel.

Hello blue stars

Hello! I have another blue card (might just be my favourite colour) to share for the A Blog Named Hero Facebook page. The challenge theme at A Blog Named Hero at the moment is to use your favourite Hero Arts product - my favourite is background stamps.
I used the Floral Tile bold print stamp from Hero Arts, white embossed and coloured with Zig markers, and perfect pearls in water. I added a die cut "hello" from the "Hello Stamp & Cut" set from Hero Arts, covered with Wink of Stella and then clear embossed. The stamped and white embossed "Sending you hugs" is from the same Stamp & Cut set.
