I have a rainbow card for Paper Rose today!
I created a rainbow of alcohol inks on Yupo, then adhered that behind a white panel cut with the Blossom Border die. I added a sentiment from Lovely Florals Blossoms white embossed onto a scrap of black cardstock.

Simon Says Stamp blog party!
Welcome to Simon Says Stamp United We Craft Blog Party! Sadly, Simon Says Stamp is unable to ship at the moment due to the global pandemic we are experiencing all over the world, so everyone at the party is crafting with older products from Simon Says Stamp, and we encourage you to do the same.
I stamped the whole of the Floral Mix background stamp from Simon Says Stamp in black ink onto Neenah solar white cardstock, and I coloured it with Copic markers. I cut the panel in half, and adhered half to a white card base. I then used the Love Shadow Wafer Die cut from black cardstock and vellum, and added a little sentiment strip using the Tiny Words stamp set.
For this second card, I used the other half of the stamped and coloured panel, but the sentiment uses the Big Thanks Shadow die along with another sentiment from the Tiny Words stamp set.
I also want to encourage you to get crafty with your family while you're staying at home, and also with family and friends from a distance via Skype, Zoom, whatever take your fancy! Catching up with friends and family is so very important at the moment, and sharing some crafty goodness with them is always fun!
If you've been doing some home crafting, post a photo to Instagram or Facebook with the #SSSUnitedWeCraft hashtag so we can all see what you've been up to!
I had a catch up with a crafty friend of mine yesterday - Anne-Marie and her children were painting Easter Eggs with crayon wax resist and gouache.
It did me a world of good to be able to have a quick chat with my friend, and see what she and her kids had been up to. (Anne Marie had actually set up an obstacle course for the kids throughout the house using painters tape on the floor! So much fun!) Love you, AM!
(Sorry for the poor quality photos - it's the best I could get from a screenshot of a Zoom meeting!)
Thanks so much for visiting! Stay safe :)

A whirlpool of fishies for Picket Fence Studios
There is a definite marine theme to the March release from Picket Fence Studios.
I used the "Current of Fish Stencil" on some navy blue cardstock for this card. I started by using my Life Changing Blender Brushes to add some Distress Inks in Chipped Sapphire and Black Soot around the edge of my navy panel before adhering the fishy stencil. I spread some of the Cornflower Blue paper glaze over the stencil before cleaning my palette knife and then spreading some Snowdrop White paper glaze over the top of the blue, mixing them a little bit, but leaving it a bit blotchy to give some variation in colour. The sentiment is from the "Swim in the Sea" stamp set, white embossed. I then adhered the navy blue panel onto a white card base.

Fusion: Gnomes
Welcome to a new challenge at Fusion!
I used the Gnomies stamp set from Paper Rose Studio, coloured with Copic markers. I used Distress Oxide ink and a Picket Fence Studios Life Changing Blender Brush to create the circle in the background using a circle stencil also from Picket Fence Studios. The sentiment is from Taylored Expressions.
Make sure you check out all the rest of the inspiration at the Fusion challenge blog, and play along with your own creation!

Bookmark at A Blog Named Hero
The challenge at A Blog Named Hero at the moment is "Anything but a card" - this is outside my comfort zone, so I've stayed pretty simple with a bookmark!
I used the Jungle Bold Prints stamp, white embossed and then inked with Distress Oxide Inks. I cut the word "congrats" from the Congrats Happy Stamp & Cut set from some teal cardstock and also from the bookmark to do a die cut inlay. I finished with a stamped sentiment and some ribbon.
