Rainbow piano for Paper Rose

Today, I'm sharing a pair of cards made using the Piano Border die from Paper Rose.

I started by ink blending a rainbow of Distress Oxide inks over a panel of white cardstock. I cut it using the Piano Border die, as well as cutting a panel of black cardstock with the same die. I paper pieced the rainbow keys into the black background, the added a layered Hand Lettered Thanks die and a printed sentiment from Black and White sentiments. I then used the other piece of rainbow cardstock to make my 2nd card with the Happy Birthday layered die and some enamel dots.

How one card idea turned into 20 different cards

Back in October, I made this card:

To make this card, I stamped and cut onto 19 different pieces of coloured cardstock. This meant that I had a lot of leftover coloured strips of cardstock. I had lots of strips left over, so I got busy!

My Monthly Hero Lucky Stars

I am waiting to get my present from Santa (a foiling machine). While I'm waiting, I used a foil plate as an embossing plate!

Craft Roulette

I played along with Craft Roulette yesterday - the parameters were:

Project: Card for someone special

Colours: Christmas tree

Element: Wreath

Random: Hand drawn border

The only one that needs an explanation on my card is that a friend of mine has a white Christmas tree with pink and purple decorations.

Here's what I came up with:
