Guest designer for Ink to Paper - February

I'm back again with more projects for Ink to Paper, using products from their February release.

For this one, I used a panel of Yupo with Alcohol inks and gold mixative. I added the Background Bouquet Die cut from Papertrey Ink white cardstock, then added a sentiment from the Bold Blooms stamp set white embossed onto black cardstock, then I fussy cut around the sentiment.

I used the same  Background Bouquet Die on this card, but I used it differently.

I used the negative space from the  Background Bouquet Die, layered over watercolour cardstock that I coloured with Zig clean color real brush markers and water. I added the Border Bling Chain die over the top, and the "hello" sentiment is from the Border Bling: Skinny Vees Frame Die.

Guest designer for Ink to Paper

I don't usually make cards with lots of layers, but these stamps and dies from Ink to Paper by Papertrey Ink were just begging to be layered!

I used the Birthday Bouquet stamp set, stamped with inks from Hero Arts onto Papertrey Ink stamper's select white cardstock, and cut the images with the coordinating die set. I white embossed the sentiment onto true black cardstock, and then cut the bow around the bouquet with some lemon tart cardstock. I adhered the bouquet onto a white panel, and then layered the panel onto a card base made from aqua mist cardstock.

I made a second card with stamps and dies from the January release - this time, I used the Sweet Celebration stamp set and matching die set to cut out this chocolate cupcake and the candle. Sweet and simple!

Mirror image cards for Paper Rose Studio

Hello! I have a pigeon pair of cards to share today, using products from Paper Rose Studios.

Now, I cheated a bit with these cards - I didn't make the blue section myself! That was made by Michelle Liimatainen of Wild Willow Art. She does acrylic paint pouring, and she sent me some cards that she used to catch some of the run off, so I'm making them into some cards.

I took a piece of white cardstock and a piece of the paint pour card and cut them both to the size of a card front. I then stacked them and sent them through my die cutting machine with the large Hello die from Paper Rose. The die cut the top layer, but it also left an indent in the bottom layer, so I knew where to put the die for the 2nd run through. I then cut the two panels in half and adhered the pieces to two card fronts, mixing and matching the pieces to create these two looks. I finished with sentiments from the Hello clear stamp set stamped in black ink.

Rainbow with rose border

I am in need of rainbows at the moment:

I made a panel of Yupo with alcohol pearls, then added two layers of the Rose Frame Background die from Paper Rose, cut from Neenah solar white cardstock and Simon Says Stamp Fog cardstock. The sentiment is from Mama Elephant, stamped in Versafine onyx black and then clear embossed. I did get a little bit of warping of the Yupo, but not a deal breaker.
