Bush Babies for Paper Rose Studio

This card is not my usual style, but I've always loved May Gibb's iconic Bush Baby images, I couldn't resist this stamp sent from Paper Rose Studio!

I stamped the bush baby and floral images plus the sentiment from the Snugglepot & Cuddlepie Little Things stamp set onto watercolour cardstock, then coloured the edges of the images using watercolour pencils. I used my waterbrush to spread the colour.

I cut the panel down so I could mount it onto a kraft card front with a small border around the edges.

Get well with Picket Fence Studios

I'm sharing a quick one layer card using products from Picket Fence Studios today.

I used the Points of Interest Stencil with the circle stencil with Distress Oxide Inks and my Life Changing Blender Brushes. I then stamped the Get Well sentiment in Picket Fence Studios black hybrid ink and finished with a few sequins for a quick and easy one-layer card.

Simon Says Stamp Crafty Hugs release

I have a card to share today using a die from the recent "Crafty Hugs" release from Simon Says Stamp

I started with the Waves stencil from Simon Says Stamp, inked using Distress Oxide ink in Worn Lipstick. I then cut the new Etched swirl heart wafer die from the Crafty Hugs release, cut from a variety of pink cardstocks. I overlapped the hearts in a row and adhered them to the card front. I then added a sentiment from Tiny Words on a strip of white cardstock, and finished with some clear sequins.

Color & Connect

I've been joining Kathy Racoosin and Lydia Fiedler for their Color & Connect zoom sessions, which are very early on Wednesday mornings local time. I've sat in front of my computer in my PJs and coloured in stamped images with my Derwent pencils. Here are two cards I made using the same image from Wplus9.

The no-line colouring took significantly more time to complete, and I think I prefer it to the back outline image.

Which one do you prefer?

More hugs for A Blog Named Hero

Sending hugs from a distance is the current challenge at A Blog Named Hero, and is something I have been trying to do a lot of! I made this card with the leftovers from the card I posted last month.

The background stamp is called Flowers for colouring bold print, and the sentiment is from the Hello Stamp and Cut set, both from Hero Arts.
