A new challenge blog!
(I think I need to have a fiddle with the settings on my camera, or maybe photoshop - the pink flowers look coral in the photo, but they are hot pink in real life!)
It also fits in nicely with CASual Fridays challenge this week, which is chevrons and flowers.
Hmm, now I'm thinking I should have rounded the top right corner - not sure......
I hope you're having a great day!

So pretty, Michelle! Love the white chevrons behind the bright flowers.
ReplyDeleteThe yellow (turning your pink to coral) may be coming from your lighting. Try a daylight bulb, if you aren't already using one. If fixing in PS, try adding a touch more blue to the mix.
Thanks, Michelle - I had a mix of daylight and artificial light, but I can't seem to find daylight bulbs to fit the light fitting in this room, and I have no space to set up a daylight lamp, unfortunately. Will have to fiddle around more with my camera, or PS, or both.
DeleteThis is so gentle and sweet Michelle. Just love the feminine quality! Thanks for playing along with us in our very first Fusion challenge!

ReplyDeleteGreat, no, fantastic card, Michelle! I love the embossed chevron and the rounded and squared flowers, so you have lots of geometry happening - math and science!! A+!
ReplyDeleteWonderful card! I love the white on white and the fussy cut flowers.
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't change a thing. This card is perfect and lovely in every way just as it is! :)

ReplyDeleteBeautiful take on the challenge! The solid flowers are so pretty especially against the outlined leaf image. Lovely!
ReplyDeleteVery cute!
ReplyDeleteNot sure if this will help because it will depend on what camera you're using, but on my Canon, on some settings (I mostly use Av) you can adjust the white balance. That will correct the color more yellow or blue depending on the lighting source. I found this web site really helpful: http://doeadeery.blogspot.ca/2013/02/5-tips-for-awesome-indoor-photos.html
Thanks for that, Tanis - I will definitely check it out!
