Christmas card with some weaving

The challenge this week at Daring Cardmakers is "Let's weave".  This is what I came up with, using a Papertrey Ink die and matching stamp.
I made the weaved piece with some scraps of ribbon I've had sitting around for AGES (see, never throwing stuff out pays off!).  I originally had it in mind for a different card, but I couldn't get it to work, and this card evolved.  Pretty happy with the result, even if I do say so myself!

Thanks for visiting :)

  1. Oh, my goodness, I LOVE this! What great way to use up some stash, too...I will have to try this, I adore this CAS layout!

  2. What a lovely colour palette you've woven with the blue and silver! Pretty and festive!

  3. That's beautiful! What a great idea for leftover bits of ribbon. Thanks for taking part in the Daring Cardmaker's challenge.

  4. Totally awesome! Love, love, love it. Thanks for playing along with the Daring Cardmakers this week!

  5. oo very clever and I love the crisp white against those cool blue ribbons. :)
