Masculine birthday card

Quick card today.  I wanted to use a new stencil I have from Create a Smile.  I also wanted to make a masculine birthday card, and I had my Distress ink blending tool already on my desk, so that determined how I would use the stencil (because I was in a lazy mood).  A white embossed sentiment from Hero Arts onto a scrap of black cardstock, and I'm done!

Now this is most definitely a CAS card, but there's not a heap of white space.  It is also most definitely not "distressed", but I did use Distress Ink, so I'll be sharing this over at Virginia's View.  I'll also be submitting this to Just Us Girls, who have an Anything Goes challenge.
Thanks for visiting :)
  1. Love this stencil!!! Super generic card for anyone and any age! Thanks for playing along with the girls and I at JUGS this week, we sure do appreciate it!

  2. Gorgeous monochromatic design!! Love the gradient of blue with the stars, Michelle! So glad that you join the fun over Virginia’s View “All Things Distressed” Challenge!

  3. Michelle, love your card, it's fabulous! I should try light blue background and a black banner, love this combination!

  4. Gorgeous Michelle. So effective!
