CASEing Genius take 3!

I decided today to indulge in some procraftination. I should be marking exams. I'm actually making an elegant white-on-white Christmas card for Kelly Latevola's CASEing Genius challenge, CASEing Michele Ferguson.

Make sure you check out Michele's blog as well - lots of very elegant, CAS designs.

I CASE'd these things from Michele's cards: a white on white design. an inlaid diecut, and texture from an embossing folder. Here's my card:
I used Hero Arts "Holiday Sayings" for the sentiment, embossed in Ranger liquid platinum embossing powder. I also used the Hero Arts "Snowflake" die,and I also die-cut the front panel with the Lil' Inkers Designs stitched squares. I took the snowflake die cut and ran it through my Big Shot again with a Cuttlebug embossing folder (whose name escapes me, sorry!), and then fit the snowflake back into the negative space on the front panel. I finished with a coat of clear Wink of Stella over the snowflake

And I would like to nominate Jessica Frost-Ballas to be a CASEing Genius genius!
Today's theme for the Online Card Class "Holiday Style" is classic and elegant - I didn't use any of the techniques shown in class, but I think this card still fits the theme!

I'll also be sharing this card at the Hero Arts Holiday Cardmaking Challenge, and at Virginia's View Challenge (Texture)

  3. Michelle, what an elegant design! Such a great use of only one(!) neutral(!) color (o.k. white isn't a real color at all). A++
