Masking and a stencil

Hello, crafty friends!  I have a thank you card for you today that is very pink!

I used my Misti to stamp the sentiment in Hero Arts Ultra Pink shadow ink, and then stamped over it in Versamark and clear embossed twice (almost impossible to do without the MISTI!)  I then cut a heart shaped mask using a die from Serendipity Stamps, and masked the sentiment before adding ink (both Ultra Pink and Soft Pink) over the Glorious Petals stencil from Hero Arts.

Would you class this as a one-layer card?  I don't know - all the stenciling, masking and stamping was done on one layer, but then I mounted that onto a card base and left a small border on either side that I inked with the Ultra Pink ink.  So technically not one layer, but all of the decorative elements are one layer.
Make sure you drop by the A Blog Named Hero Facebook page - there's new inspiration there every day!

Thanks for visiting :)

  1. This is so flat, it may as well be one-layer! It's amazing!! What a fabulous card. Love how you've used the stencil and masking, Michelle. Wow!!! :-)
