Just saying hello

I have a simple one-layer card to share with you today.

I used the "Large Flower" stencil from Hero Arts with three different Distress Inks (Squeezed Lemonade, Dried Marigold and Worn Lipstick), with a sentiment from Hero Arts "Messages With Flourish".  Three sequins from Pretty Pink Posh were the finishing touch.

I will be sharing this card at a new challenge blog, "The Flower Challenge".  Their inaugural theme is "Anything Goes".

Happy birthday, Cecilia!

Today it is the birthday of Cecilia (of Cecilia's Cards)! She made me the most gorgeous card for my birthday earlier this year, using the Peony Bouquet stamp set from Altenew, and I decided then and there that the stamp set would have to become mine! I decided to use it for her birthday, too (you can check out the card she made for me HERE).

Happy birthday, Cecilia!

I will be sharing this card at a new challenge blog, "The Flower Challenge".  Their inaugural theme is "Anything Goes".

CASEing Jennifer McGuire

When I saw Jennifer McGuire's latest post, I knew exactly what I wanted to make with the technique she shared - Christmas cards!
I used a Santa stamp from Papertrey Ink, and the sentiment is from Lawn Fawn.
I'll be sharing this at Virginia's View challenge #24 - Focal Point.

Thanks for the huge effort

Hi! I have a bright, fun card to share with you today.
I registered for the latest Online Card Class, but I've been buried under a pile of marking for the past few weeks, and today was the first time I could get any time in the craft room.  I decided to make an interactive card with some movement.

So, where's the movement, I hear you say?

I will be sharing this card at Virginia's View challenge - Focal Point.

Congrats

Hello!  Today, I'm sharing a card I made using the Botanical Garden set from Altenew, along with the Congrats Stamp & Cut set from Hero Arts. I just did some simple stamping and messy watercolouring for the floral images using Distress Inks, and some metallic embossing for the sentiment.
