Sympathy cards

Sympathy cards are not easy. So when I made them, I tend to make a few the same so I have some spares on hand. I also try to make them not too masculine, not too feminine. I was inspired by a card by Lydia Evans on the CAS-ual Fridays shop - you can see it HERE as one of the samples for this stamp set.
I used "Casual Comfort" from CAS-ual Fridays, with a sentiment from "Lots to Say" by Reverse Confetti. I used a bunch of different Shadow Inks from Hero Arts - Antiqua, Pool, Soft Pool and Cornflower. For this card, I masked the sentiment, so it is a one layer card.
This green one, however, is not one layer - it started off that way, but I had ink bleed through the mask, so I had to cover up the boo boo.
Same stamps for this one, but I used Hero Arts Shadow inks in Green Hills, Lime Green, Soft Leaf, Field Greens and Fresh Lawn.
I'm playing along with CAS(e) this sketch

  1. Lovely cards. Good idea to make a few extra of the same design for this somber purpose.
