Seahorse thanks

I made this card a few months ago, and I forgot that I'd taken these photos at all! I received a message from a recent Masters graduate, Maddi, who did research on seahorses. She wanted a thank you card for some of the keepers at Melbourne Zoo to thank them for allowing her to use their tanks.

I don't own any seahorse stamps, so I am grateful to Cecilia Hsieh of Cecilia's Cards for letting me borrow her stamp. I white embossed it onto watercolour cardstock, then added Distress Inks using the ink smooshing technique, then added more texture using stencils from Hero Arts and Dina Wakley with Distress Oxide inks, and some Wink of Stella over the seaweed fronds. The sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp, white embossed onto vellum. I finished with some droplets from Studio Katia.

I'll be sharing this card at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge where the theme this week is Anything Goes.

Thanks for visiting :)
