When I'm need of cheering up, all I need is a rainbow.
The sentiment is from a stamp set from Hello Bluebird - it is called "Rainbow Script", and it has heaps of sentiments that are perfect for my rainbow cards!

Leftover rainbow
If you saw my video posted for Ardyth's 3000 Subscriber video hop the other day, you might have noticed that I cut off a slice of the rainbow background that I had made using Catherine Pooler Inks and Perfect Pearls. I couldn't possibly let it go to waste, so I made this quick and simple card:
I added a sentiment from Paper Rose Studio.
If you didn't catch the video hop, make sure you visit my YouTube channel - there are heaps of prizes to be won!

De-bossing with Picket Fence Studios
Picket Fence Studios makes dies that are used for foiling with heat foiling machines. But did you know that they can also be used for de-bossing?
I used gold foil cardstock and the Christmas Leaf Bulb Foiled Impression Die and ran it through my die cutting machine the same way I would when embossing with a die. I then did the same thing with the Falalalalaaa Foiled Impression Die on red foil cardstock. I used the Silent Night stencil with Gold pigment ink with my Life Changing Blender Brushes for the background, with some black Distress Ink around the edges.

Another pink fairy
I stamped and coloured some fairies and flowers a little while ago, and I had one of each left over, so I made another pink fairy card.
The fairy, flower and sentiment are from Lawn Fawn, and the cloud stencil is from MFT.

Masculine happy birthday
This card uses up leftovers from a Father's Day card I made last month.
I die cut a square (using a die from Lil' Inkers) from a panel of Yupo with alcohol inks, adhered it to a card base on the diagonal, and added a gold embossed sentiment from Hero Arts.

Copic colouring for Picket Fence Studios
I haven't done much copic colouring recently, so when I saw this stamp from Picket Fence Studios September release, I immediately pulled out my Copic markers.
I used the "BFF Elise Girl stamp from Picket Fence Studios", coloured with Copic markers and then cut out with the "BFF Elise Girl Coordinating Die" . I created the background using the "Heart of Flowers Stencil" and my "Life Changing Blender Brushes" with some Distress Ink. The sentiment is called "Get Well".

CAS(e) this sketch #340
I am very excited to be a guest of CAS(e) this sketch today for challenge #340!
I did some Distress Oxide ink blending using a stencil from Paper Rose Studio and Life Changing Blender Brushes from Picket Fence Studio. I then added a sentiment from Avery Elle and that's it - a clean and simple, one-layer card!

Inspired by Gale at A Blog Named Hero
The challenge this month at A Blog Named Hero is "Inspired By" - I have taken inspiration from a card posted in July by Gale Williams-Thompson.
Gale created a panel of watercolour card with glitter paste and watercolour powders. I don't have glitter paste, so I used Wendy Vecchi embossing paste. Gale used Pixie spray to adhere her stencil, which I don't have, so I used a technique I've seen Kelly Latevola use - put Tombow mono multi glue on the back of the Bold Floral stencil from Hero Arts and wait for it to dry so it becomes repositionable. I spread the embossing paste over the stencil, scraped off the excess, then sprinkled Nuance watercolour powder over the top, and sprayed with water and mopped up the excess water with paper towel. When the panel was dry, I added some Stardust Stickles to give some glittery shine, and added a white embossed sentiment from Many Birthday Messages popped up on dimensional adhesive.

Fusion: Coffee
Welcome to a new challenge at Fusion!
I ignored the photo inspiration this week, and went with the sketch. I made a panel of alcohol inks on yupo, and used it as the background behind the Snowflake Border die from Paper Rose Studio. I added some Star Dust Stickles to the centres of the snowflakes for some shine. The sentiment is from Clearly Besotted.
Make sure you check out all the rest of the inspiration at the Fusion challenge blog, and play along with your own creation!

September release at Picket Fence Studios
Today is the day! There are some AMAZING stamps, dies and stencils being released this month at Picket Fence Studios - this one would have to be my favourite!
I white embossed the "Christmas poinsettia star" stamp onto watercolour cardstock. I then used the ink smooshing technique to add some colour using Distress Inks in Worn Lipstick, Picked Raspberry and Seedless Preserves, and then added some depth of colour to the poinsettia petals using more Distress Ink and my water brush. I then sprayed the whole panel in Perfect Pearls in water before drying it with my heat tool and adhering to a card front. The sentiment is from "The Season of Giving" stamp set, and I white embossed it onto a scrap of deep purple cardstock. (BTW, I have a friend who is a French teacher, so I just had to add the accent tréma on top of the e in "Noël")
I love this Poinsettia so much, I couldn't stop and one card!
I used Zig clean color real brush markers to colour this one, and the sentiment is again from "The Season of Giving".
I have another Christmassy card to share! I started by creating a diagonal background using the "Candy Cane Lane Stencil" and some red ink using my Life Changing Blender Brushes. I stamped the main image from "Straight from the North Pole" in Picket Fence Black hybrid ink, and then coloured him with Copic markers. I cut him out with the "Straight from the North Pole" coordinating die and stamped an image from the same stamp set.
Make sure you visit the Picket Fence blog, and all of the DT members' blogs - there's some awesome inspiration to be had!
I'll be sharing the first card in this post at The Flower Challenge, where the theme is Anything Goes.

Floral thanks
I tried something different with this card - I sprayed some water into a palette, and then sprinkled some Nuance pigment powders into the water to create watercolours. This wasn't exactly the look I was going for, but it's still OK, I think.
I used a floral stamp from Simon Says Stamp, and a sentiment die set from Create a Smile.

Rainbow floral birthday
Rainbows on Yupo. I think I have a problem.
I added an embossed floral image from Wplus9 on Vellum over the top of the rainbow of alcohol ink. I coloured the back of the vellum with copic markers to match the alcohol ink behind the vellum. I finished with a sentiment from Altenew.

Stamptember collaboration with Picket Fence Studio
I am very excited today to be sharing this new stamp set collaboration from Picket Fence Studios and Simon Says Stamp for Stamptember!
I stamped the cute little snowman using Black hybrid ink from Picket Fence Studios and then masked him and the snowdrifts using Inkadinkado masking paper. I stamped and white embossed the snowflakes, then inked the background with Distress Oxide Inks and my Life Changing Blender Brushes. I removed the fist mask to add a little bit of blue to the snowdrift in the front, then removed all masks to colour in the snowman with Copic markers. I finished with some stardust Stickles in the centres of the snowflakes.
Make sure you visit the blogs of the Picket Fence Studios Design Team members - there are so many awesome cards to see!
