Challenge me a Christmas Card with Jeanne Jachna

Welcome to "Challenge me a Christmas Card" for 2019! I have asked cardmaking friends to join me in the lead up to Christmas by challenging me to make a card using a specific style, theme, technique or product.

My guest for today is Jeanne Jachna of "A Kept Life".  She has challenged me to make a card with only diecutting - no stamping!!

You can check out her take on the challenge HERE

Here's what I came up with:

I used the Fresh Pine Curved Border by Memory Box to create the layers. I sprayed the navy blue layer with Perfect Pearls in water to give some shine and to make it look a bit like a night sky. The sentiment is from CAS-ual Fridays.

 Thanks for visiting :)

  1. ooooohhhhh !!! I love the ombre layers of blue... the glittery night sky and that script font sentiment. Nothing too hard for you! Beautiful as always Michelle! Thanks for having me as your guest!

  2. This is absolutely beautiful! I might have to challenge myself to try each of your daily themes! Gorgeous take on this challenge, which doesn't look like it actually challenged you at all! I loved this series last year but I can't remember if you struggled with any of the guidelines/themes. Will be watching curiously this time around and hopefully making time for a play in the process. There was no time or mojo last year! Kudos to you for doing this again!!!

    1. Thank you, Karen - I'm glad it looks like I wasn't challenged - but any card without some kind of ink on it challenges me! LOL! I would love it if you took up the challenges - if you post to Instagram, use the hashtag #challengemeachristmascard so I can check out your cards!
