Welcome to "Challenge me a Christmas Card" for 2019! I have asked cardmaking friends to join me in the lead up to Christmas
by challenging me to make a card using a specific style, theme,
technique or product.
My guest for today is Kelly Szafron of Kelly's Papercrafting. She has challenged me to make a card using a sketch that she drew.
You can check out her take on the challenge HERE.
Here's what I came up with:
I started with a tag I cut using a punch from Stampin' Up. I then stamped and white embossed the poinsettia image from Simon Says Stamp, and coloured it with Zig markers. I traced around the edges of the image using some BG Copic markers. I sprayed the tag with Perfect Pearls in water and added a pink grosgrain ribbon to the top of the tag.
The background panel is patterned paper from my stash (honestly don't know the brand, sorry! Could be Lawn Fawn, but I'm guessing). I cut it using a stitched rectangle die from Lil' Inkers. I finished by popping the tag up on dimensional adhesive, and adding a sentiment from Simon Says Stamp white embossed onto a scrap of black cardstock, also popped up.
Thanks for visiting :)
