Welcome to "Challenge me a Christmas Card" for 2019! I have asked cardmaking friends to join me in the lead up to Christmas
by challenging me to make a card using a specific style, theme,
technique or product.
My guest for today is Anita Bowden of Neet and Crafty, and she has has challenged me to make a card using the inlaid die cut technique
You can check out her take on the challenge HERE.
Here's what I came up with:
I started by making a panel of yupo with alcohol inks. I then die cut some white cardstock using the snowflake dies from Simon Says Stamp, then cut the same snowflakes from the yupo. Then I spent a good half hour just replacing all of the little pieces to create the inlaid die cut look. I finished with an embossed sentiment from Clearly Besotted.
Thanks for visiting :)
