Favourites of 2024

Last year in this post, I said that 2023 has been horrible for me and my family. This year, we lost my father, so this year has been the most challenging ever for my family. I've also been struggling with my mobility with an injury combined with severe arthritis in my knee.

This year, I continued with the coordination of A Blog Named Hero, and the Global Team for Hero Arts. I continued on the design teams for Paper RoseColorado Craft Company, and Spellbinders. I was a guest of Mary Gunn on Craft Roulette twice this year, which is always heaps of FUNN! I also continued as a moderator of Jennifer McGuire's Share Handmade Kindness group on Facebook.

Each year, I start planning my annual Case me a Christmas Card in August - I usually have all of the guests locked in and about 1/3 of my cards made by the end of August. This year, I began in June so I wouldn't have to cancel like I did in 2023. My father passed away in the first week of July, so nothing got done that month, but I was determined not to cancel again, and I ended up having more guests this year than ever before. Thank you to all of my wonderful and generous guests!

Of the cards that I made this year, these are some of my favourites:

A big thank you to these brands that I have used and loved this year, for their generosity in allowing affiliate sales!

  2. Wonderful lineup this year, Michelle! I love your floral and wreath cards, but my favorite today is the "quack me up" one done in pastels! It made me smile! Happy New Year!
