In 2025, I continued with the coordination of A Blog Named Hero, and I joined the Creative Team for Hero Arts. I continued on the design teams for Paper Rose, Colorado Craft Company, and Spellbinders. I was a guest of Mary Gunn on Craft Roulette twice this year, once on World Cardmaking Day, which is always heaps of FUNN! I also continued as a moderator of Jennifer McGuire's Share Handmade Kindness group on Facebook.
I challenged myself in my cardmaking this year by enrolling in the Altenew Educator Certification Program. This program has taught me some new things, pushed me outside of my comfort zone, and has allowed me to make the best use of my stash of Altenew products (lets be real- it has given me an excuse to expand my stash of Altenew products! LOL!!) My final assessment, an online class, will happen in January - stay tuned for more info!
This year, my Case me a Christmas Card became bigger than Ben Hur! Instead of CASEing each of 52 guests like last year, I had 80 guests, organised into 10 hops on Instagram and on You Tube. As well as being joined by the Who's Who of cardmaking, any and all cardmakers were encouraged to join in with their own creations, and I was also supported by a bunch of crafty companies who very generously sponsored my event with prizes!
