Tuesday Trigger Sweet Surprise

This week's Tuesday Trigger photo at Moxie Fab World is so gorgeous - lots of white, texture and blue gingham ribbon.  I tried to not mess with it too much - went with what I saw, pretty much (with slightly less ribbon). I couldn't decide what sentiment to add - so I went without.

I love Jane Austen

I love Jane Austen.  I love the books, I love the miniseries and movie adaptations, everything.  I bought the Simply Jane clear stamp set, matching dies and patterned paper from Papertrey Ink a while ago, but had not cracked them open until today, when I saw the soft and subtle colour scheme for this week's JAI challenge.

I love the effect I got from making this flower out of Crumb Cake (aka Kraft) cardstock, then misting with Perfect Pearls - the photo below shows the difference between the plain Crumb Cake and the misted flower.

New punch

Last year, I went to a class at Sue Madex's place, and we made this card on her blog.  Well, I thought at the time that I should buy that spiral punch, but I left it too late, and it was sold out by the time I went to order it.  Well, last week, I visited the Paperific expo at the Melbourne Showgrounds, and found an EK Success edge punch that is very similar, so I snapped it up immediately!  This is what I came up with (heavily influenced by Sue's Christmas card ;)
I hope you're having a lovely day - thanks for visiting :)

CASE study

This week's CASE study challenge is to CASE an absolutely stunning card by Laura Bassen.
Here's my take:
 Here's Laura's gorgeous card:
I was making another card this morning, and thought I'd better clean out my corner chomper - it was a bit stuck:
I should probably clean it out a bit more often, don't you agree? LOL!!

Simon Says Moxie Fab and Hero Arts

I made this card with all Hero Arts clear stamps for a Blog Named Hero, using Moxie Fab's Tuesday Trigger as inspiration.  I know there was a one-layer-card challenge out there recently, but I can't remember where!!  Anyway, here's my take:
I'll also submit this to Simon Says... Anything Goes challenge!
