A new die cut and a butterfly
I stamped the Hero Arts "Heart winged butterfly" in Versamark onto vellum and white embossed before fussy cutting it out. I added colour to the back of the vellum with 3 Copics. I then adhered it (with Glossy Accents for the body and clear foam adhesive for the wings) over the "Fairytale flower border" die from Memory box (fresh out of its packet!) and stamped a sentiment from Stampin' Up in Versafine Smokey Grey ink. The card base is made from Knight white hammered cardstock, which gives it some subtle texture.
I'll be submitting this card to The Card Concept's butterfly challenge - this card probably fits their "clean and layering" category.
I'll also be submitting it to Time Out challenges "Home Sweet Home" - love the white on white, the texture, and the butterflies, or course!
Thanks for visiting - have a lovely day :)

That butterfly isso pretty, I have that stamp but never thought to do on vellum. Looks so soft. I love your card, can see why you made a few.

Wow - your embossing is absolutely flawless! I love the effect of coloring the velum - creates such a soft, almost watercolor look and creates a lovely contrast with the white card.
