I don't do grunge.
And how do you do grunge and CAS? Now that's a challenge!
But I had to try. I thought paint platters look grungy, and I only own one dauber bottle of paint, and it happens to be Distress Paint in Picket Fence. So I pulled out some black cardstock and got to splatting.
Many thanks to our sponsor for this challenge:
I love your grunge/CAS hybrid! So fun - the splatters look like molecules under the microscope, I keep expecting them to start moving :)
ReplyDeleteI was smiling reading your post, Michelle ... I had the same issue with Grunge! What a brilliant card ... there's so much energy and movement in those splatters! Anita :)
ReplyDeleteI love CAS and Grunge together! You really did it well and the splatters look awesome. Great job xx
ReplyDeleteWhat do you mean you don't do grunge?!!! You just did it and it looks fabulous! I love the paint splatters that you made. That looks like designer paper. So very cool. You NOW do grunge! :)
ReplyDeleteYour HB font goes perfectly with the splats :)
ReplyDeleteHi Michelle,
ReplyDeleteStriking! Thats the word I'd use for your card. I love that you used the pattern off-kilter,and the stitching really "sews it up" (pun intended)
Blessings,
Barb
