I'm celebrating in two ways - firstly, I'm CASEing some of my all-time favourite cards this week - ones that I have pinned on Pinterest. These are from some of my favourite card-making superstars. Today's CASE is of a card by Christine Drogt of Create A Smile!
I loved the hot pink on Christine's card so much, I decided to make another! As luck would have it, my order from Create a Smile arrived last week, just in time, so I used a stencil I already had, plus a stamp set from Create a Smile!
Here's the second way I'm celebrating - I thought I would do a giveaway :)
I have a bag full of goodies, including things from Hero Arts, Simon Says Stamp, Kaisercraft, Stickles, Basic Grey, My Minds Eye, The Twinery, Imaginisce, Pebbles, Prima, Uniball, Kuretake, and a couple of other goodies thrown in for good measure!
All you need to do for a chance to win this giveaway is fill in the Rafflecopter thingamajig below. There are multiple ways to enter, and each one gives you an entry (or more than one)! I will announce the winner sometime in the week following the close of the Rafflecopter - you have until Friday, 14th August at 2pm AEST (that's 12am EST for my friends in the US and Canada, or 4am GMT for UK and European peeps.)
BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE!!
When I asked Christine whether she was OK with me posting a photo of her card here on my blog, not only did she say she yes, but she immediately offered an extra giveaway for my blog event - a free stamp set from Create a Smile! So, to win a stamp set of your choice from Create a Smile, all you need to do is comment on this post, telling me your favourite stencil!
Many thanks to Christine Drogt at Create a Smile for allowing me to CASE her awesome CAS talent and for offering a freebie from her cool company, and to Jennifer McGuire at Online Card Classes for their generous sponsorship!

ReplyDeleteThanks for your entry!
DeleteMichelle, I am loving this look of only using part of the stencil and having the colour fade away. Very very nice
ReplyDeleteI am using stencils more and more like this - they're so versatile! Love the stencils from Create a Smile - I have a bunch of them!
DeleteLove the bold colors over the stencil designs and how they fade out! So pretty with an awesome sentiment in black for the contrast!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Denise!
DeleteWhat fun background stencils - I love that you only did part of the card with them!
ReplyDeleteI'm a CAS girl at heart - gotta leave SOME white space! lol!
DeleteSuch a cool look. I will have to try this one out :) I have used Large Lotus Background by Hero Arts a lot, but I also love Memory Box stencis.
ReplyDeleteI love the HA Large Lotus stencil, but I don't have enough Memory Box stencils (yet!)
DeleteBeautiful cards! Congrats on your 100th milestone!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Jenny :)
DeleteSuch cool looking cards!
ReplyDeleteI like the In Circles stencil.
Carla from Utah
Which company makes the In Circles stencil, please, Carla? (I need to decide whether I need it!!)
DeleteBig congrats...love the card with the partial stenciling.
ReplyDeleteMy fav stencil that I use the most is one that I cut myself. It has 3 circles on it of different sizes. It is great for creating a bokeh bkg.
I think my next favs are the ones from TH.
I've made a couple of stencils myself, too - gotta love DIY!
DeleteLove the fading color on your card, Michelle!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Cathy - I am usually too impatient with ink blending, and get blotches!
