Challenge me a Christmas Card with Lisa Stein

Welcome! Last year, I did a series on my blog where I asked people to set me a Christmas card challenge. This year, I'm stepping it up a notch, by asking crafty friends to join me!
How cool is this graphic!! My crafty friend, Kylie Purtell, made it especially for me! YAY!  You can check out her blog HERE.

Today, the challenge theme is "Cross-stitch".

My special guest today is Lisa Stein - you can check out her take on this challenge HERE.

Here's my take:
I have not tried cross stitch since I was a teenager, and the reason I haven't done it since then because I was SO BAD at it! So I am really proud of myself for doing this teeny tiny bit of cross stitch successfully!
This card hides a surprise - the cross stitched panel is actually a bookmark! And it can be removed without destroying the card - see that tab on the left??
When removed, there is another holly image underneath, hand-drawn to mimic cross stitch, so that the card still looks complete with or without the bookmark in place.
Thanks for visiting :)
