Pink and orange garland

A friend of mine challenged me to make a card with pinks and oranges - now, orange is not my favourite colour (not a fan), but I like pink. This didn't turn out nearly as bright as I had originally planned, but I like it anyway.
I used stamps from Wplus9, on watercolour paper. I made a background of yellow, orange and pink using Distress Oxide inks and water, then stamped the gardland, before colouring with Copics and coloured pencils, and finishing with some white gel pen. I'm still very much a novice with coloured pencils (and with Copics) but I'm trying!
 Thanks for visiting :)

  2. Gorgeous card, Michelle. I don't like orange much either, but it goes beautifully with the pink on your card. xx
