Rainbow happy birthday

This card is a failure. Let me explain.

I made a rainbow of alcohol inks on Yupo. So far, so good. Then I wanted to add some gold foil, but I had left it too long, and the alcohol ink was too dry, so I thought I would stamp glue onto the panel and then add the foil to the glue. That's where it failed. I did get a tiny bit of foil onto the panel (I used a discontinued stamp from Hero Arts), so I decided to make it into a card. The sentiment is from Papertrey Ink.

Thanks for visiting :)

  1. well Michelle... you might not have got what you imagined, but the panels look awesome. Love the distressed look that the foiling resulted in.

    1. That's my problem - I'm not a fan of the distressed look (but I am a fan of Distress Inks! LOL!)

  2. Looks good from here! I don't like the distressed look either, but this doesn't fall into that category, IMHO!
