Welcome to Case me a Christmas Card for 2020 - a slight variation on my annual Challenge me a Christmas Card blog series!
From
October to December, I will link to a series of guest cardmakers on my
blog. I will CASE one of their cards, and they will CASE one of mine!
CASE stands for Copy And Share Everything - but it's not about just
copying a card. It's about getting inspiration from cardmaking friends,
but making a new card that is our own. And, of course, the card we each
make has to be a Christmas card!
Today, my guest is Debbie Pamment. You can check out the card I CASEd in her Instagram feed HERE. My style is a lot more CAS than Debbies, but I used layers, patterned paper, Copic colouring and die cut shapes, which are common elements in Debbie's cards.
All of the products I used are linked below (except for the patterned paper, which I believe is discontinued - it was from Kaisercraft) :)
This is the card I Cased:
Ardyth came up with a genius acronym to help you make a Case of a card without making a direct copy of it - LIMES. I am going to be using this acronym for all my Cases from now on:
List: Layers, Copic colouring, rocking horse, patterned papers, gems, washi tape, ribbon, die cut circles,Include: Die cut circles, layers, copic colouring, patterned paper
Modify: not a square card, Santa image
Exclude: Washi, ribbon, gems, some layers
Debbie has Cased one of my cards, too - you can find her post HERE.
Thanks for visiting :)
Oh Michelle - you chose one of my favourite cards to CASE and did an AWESOME job - it's gorgeous. Love your style and the differences between us make it that much more interesting and fun
