Offset coverplate for Paper Rose

Today, I'm sharing a card I made for Paper Rose.

I cut the Heart Circle Coverplate die from white cardstock and blended Distress Oxide inks over it. I then sprayed it with Perfect Pearls in water and dried it with my heat tool. I decided to adhere the coloured diecut in an unusual way, offset on the card front - this put the contrasting colours closer to each other, and gave me some white space in my design. I cut the Happy Birthday Layered die from black glitter cardstock an from white cardstock that I ink blended with Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide ink, before adhering them together and then adhering to the centre of the card. I finished with some black enamel dots.

Thanks for visiting :)
