Stretch your Stamps - Day 4, card 1

Today's class focussed on using graphic stamps in different ways.  One way is to repeat the same element over and over to create a background, or what they called "faux patterned paper".
The pale blue mat is not a mat at all!  I coloured some white cardstock with the Hero Arts Soft Pool ink, then cut very thin strips that I adhered right up against the stamped panel - same look as a mat, less paper  used :)  I'll be submitting this card to CASual Fridays "Let's strip" challenge

  1. Don't you just love that idea of using strips instead of matting? So many wonderful little tips in this class. Beautiful card - gorgeous colors!

    1. Oh, you are very kind, thankyou. No, I'm not a member of a design team - I have applied to a few, though.
