I used Hero Arts "Lattice" (white embossed) on the background and Hero Arts "Envelope Pattern" stamped in HA Soft Pink Shadow Ink on the panels, then rounded the corners with my We R Memory Keepers Corner Chomper before attaching with dimensional adhesive. The sentiment is from a HA Clear set, "All Occasion", which I stamped in Memento "Tuxedo Black" Ink.
For the flower, I punched a circle from cardstock and put sticky strip around the edge to attach the pleated ribbon from Stampin' Up, then attached a SU Antique Brad in the middle. I punched the leaves from the edge of a circle of SU Wild Wasabi cardstock, and stamped them with the Envelope Pattern background stamp as well.
I'll be submitting this to CASual Fridays "Wallpaper", CASology "Circle", A Blog Named Hero "Just Make Your Own", CAS(E) this Sketch #17, and Simon Says Stamp Challenge - "Anything Goes!"
Holy cow, woman! Five challenges! I bow before you! And I get to comment on 3 (actually, you missed the Muse challenge, which is what I originally thought this was - make it 6!! and now I only get to comment on two - CASology and CTS) This is a beautiful card - I love how you've incorporated so much texture but kept it CAS! Thanks so much for playing along with us at CASology and CTS (and it's a great take on the Muse, if you're interested in linking up there, too! lol!)
ReplyDeleteThat's funny - I saw the Muse challenge, but just didn't see it in my card! (maybe because I'm sick - I'm exhausted and my brain is being quite literal, hence the very faithful take on the CTS sketch!). Unfortunately, I missed the Muse submission deadline :( but thanks for the suggestion :)
