Pattern Play Day 3, take 2

I was determined to try Kristina Werner's idea from class today, of cutting bold patterned papers into strips to break up the pattern.  I pulled out a patterned paper that is not exactly one of my favourites - I love the colours, not the pattern so much.  But, with Kristina's technique and a dash of my own idea of cutting out a curve so the sentiment could be flat on the base card, this is what I came up with:

  1. Love the curve and how you varied the width of the strips!

  2. Like how you solved the "where to put the sentiment" issue and also happy to see that I wasn't the only one to cut my strips into different widths.

  4. Love this card - it is awesome the way you used the pattern and cut the different widths of the paper. Also the curve you made - so cool. It is perfection!

  5. The curved bottom of the pattern paper really added a bonus element to the card.

  10. I love the addition of the curve. What is a ghastly paper became quite elegant used like this. Great job.
