Challenge me a Christmas Card with Jenny Colacicco

Welcome to "Challenge me a Christmas Card" for 2018!
My guest today is Jenny Colacicco, and she has challenged me to make a card using powder watercolours - I'm using Color Burst powders. You can check out her take on this challenge HERE.

Here's what I came up with:
I cut some squares of watercolour cardstock with a stitched square die from Lil' Inkers Designs, and stamped and white embossed the snowflakes from Simon Says Stamp. I then sprayed them with water before adding Color Burst powders in Indigo and Turquoise and spraying some more. I dried them with my heat tool before deciding to spray them again with Perfect Pearls in water. I then adhered them to a white card front, stamped a sentiment from Clearly Besotted, and added some sequins from Pretty Pink Posh.
I had a few squares left over, so I made another card - this time with a sentiment from Simon Says Stamp.

I was on a roll, and had three squares left, so guess what I did?

I will be sharing this card at Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge, where the theme is "Anything Goes".

  1. Great variety. ColorBurst are fun but can be messy.

    1. They definitely are messy - make sure you have a craft mat and lots of baby wipes ready!
