Challenge me a Christmas Card with Lyndal Higgins
My guest today is Lyndal Higgins, and she has challenged me to make a card using alcohol inks and dies. You can check out her take on this challenge HERE.
Here's what I came up with:
I used the Fresh Pine Curved Border die from Memory Box to cut a Yupo panel with alcohol inks on it (I made the panel by adding alcohol inks to Yupo, then putting a 2nd piece of Yupo over the top, then pulling them apart. You get a lovely smooth result with this technique). I cut a white panel at the same time so I could use the die cut inlay technique. I added a sentiment from Clearly Besotted "Say it's Christmas" and I was done!
And because I ended up with two pieces from the original Yupo panel, I got two cards for the price of one!
I will be sharing this card at Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge, where the theme is "Anything Goes".
Thanks for visiting :)
