Sunshine for Paper Rose

I have a quick, one-layer card to share with you today for Paper Rose Studio.

I began by stamping the word Sunshine with my Misti, so I could stamp the top and the bottom in different shades of yellow. OI then stamped the sun and its little smily face, the rest of the sentiment, and then I added ink over the stencil on the left side of the card. I kept the darker shade of yellow to the corners of the card.

Sparkles for A Blog Named Hero

The latest challenge at A Blog Named Hero is "sparkle", so I have made this card using some glitter cardstock.

I stamped the background on some pale blue cardstock and white embossed it, then added some darker blue ink blending around the edge. I cut the ornament die from silver glitter cardstock, and adhered it onto the plain outline die cur from the same blue cardstock as the base. I stamped and white embossed the sentiment in the centre, then adhered the ornament and the blue panel to a white card base.

Case me a Christmas Card with Lyndal Higgins

Welcome to Case me a Christmas Card for 2020 - a slight variation on my annual Challenge me a Christmas Card blog series!

From October to December, I will link to a series of guest cardmakers on my blog. I will CASE one of their cards, and they will CASE one of mine! CASE stands for Copy And Share Everything - but it's not about just copying a card. It's about getting inspiration from cardmaking friends, but making a new card that is our own. And, of course, the card we each make has to be a Christmas card!

Today, my guest is Lyndal Higgins. I have CASEd one of her cards that you can check out HERE

All of the products I used are linked below :)

This is the card I Cased:

Ardyth came up with a genius acronym to help you make a Case of a card without making a direct copy of it - LIMES. I am going to be using this acronym for all my Cases from now on:
List: Horizontal woodgrain, blue tones, pale pink outline flowers, patterned paper sentiment

Include: Woodgrain, blue tones, pale pink flowers

Modify: position of flowers and sentiment

Exclude: patterned paper sentiment

Spin: metallic embossing and sentiment, Christmas!
