Week 1, card 3 Holiday card boot camp
In the end, it was quite tricky to make - the first thing I did was cut a semi-circle using my Martha Stewart circle cutter - and sliced the tip of my right index finger with the blade! Ouch!! And I'm right handed!! Quite tricky making a card with index finger in a bandage :( However, I avoided getting blood on the card, so that's OK! (Must get one's priorities right! LOL!!!)

What a wonderful card with this cute little tree. Your idea with the doublesided paper is perfect.
ReplyDeleteHope your finger heals quickly so you can show us more of your beautiful cards.

ReplyDeleteGreetings from Mauritius.
I'm going to give the tree a try tonight! Thanks for your inspiration.
ReplyDeleteLove your cards Michelle. So simple and clean.
ReplyDeleteSeems like we think very much alike when it comes to Photo cards! I'm also not a fan and hoping today was the only day we will have them in class!
ReplyDeleteI used my time to try some other cards and catch up on a few challenges!
I love how your tree cards came out. Now you have inspired me to try these -- the double sided paper is a bonus too!
See you tomorrow!

Love this little folded tree. Looks great with the double sided paper. I almost missed the tutorial since I don't do photo cards. That would have been a terrible shame. Have fun with HCBC!
ReplyDeleteLove your card, you did such a great job on the folded Christmas tree and the double sided DSP.
ReplyDeleteWonderful card using some of the ideas presented to us here, and with supplies on hand. Guess this is what it's all about, and not that we have to duplicate the class card.
ReplyDeleteGreat card!! Wonderful use of the class inspiration. You've inspired me to try the tree!
