Challenge me a Christmas Card with Mateja Povse
My guest today is Mateja Povse, and she has challenged me to make a card with dies only - no stamping! You can check out her take on this challenge HERE.
Here's what I came up with:
I used dies from Birch Press (Radiant Ornament layering dies, and Big Joy Sugar Script) and from Lil' Inkers (Stitched Rectangles), along with white glitter cardstock, silver mirror cardstock, vellum, two different blue cardstocks (both from Stampin Up and both, sadly, discontinued - Ballet Blue is my all time favourite! *sniff*) and a blue metallic cardstock.
I now realise that this card is very similar to one by Tracey McNeely - you can check out her card HERE. (I didn't see Tracey's card before making mine, but I thought I'd point you in the direction of her card, anyway!)
Thanks for visiting :)

amazing card, Michelle - that is one gorgeous die and you've used it so beautifully with those pretty blues!
ReplyDeleteYour ornament is gorgeous! Love the sparkle. Funny how we both went for an ornament :) Thank you for having me :)
ReplyDeleteGorgeous card, Michelle! I miss Ballet Blue, too!!! It was such a perfect blue. I also really miss Brilliant Blue which was a perfect bright vibrant blue.
