Muted Tones at A Blog Named Hero

I think muted tones on cards work particularly well for more sombre occasions, so I decided to make a sympathy card for today.

I used the "Jungle Bold Prints" stamp, embossed onto watercolour cardstock. I coloured it with Zig markers and water, then added heaps of Perfect Pearls in water. I added a panel of this card to a notecard made from Simon Says Stamp Fog cardstock, and added a sentiment from "Color Layering Dragonfly". I added some faux stitching with a white gel pen as a finishing touch.

Thanks for visiting :)

  2. So nice with those pretty leaves! Wow I just saw that you used jungle leaves. Good one showing different uses for a stamp. I agree on muted is great for sympathy cards!
